Rest Replenish & Renew: A Journey into Deep Rest & Renewal

🌿Update: This Retreat Has Passed

Missed this round? Take a look at the healing shifts the women who attended just experienced…

🌿"Wow - this was an amazing experience.  I can't say enough how it moved me, the meditation was so powerful.

I've been working with Kim for years and sometimes I see classes and think I've taken it before, I know what we will discuss, but I'm never prepared for how I feel after the classes.  The herbal retreat was a prime example.  Coming back, sharing these experiences with a beautiful group of people - it's different, it touches me in different areas of my life, in different ways.  It's never the same experience because I'm different each time, I have different beautiful experiences and challenges.  I'm constantly evolving as a human, a wife, a mother, friend and daughter so it's so important that I keep doing the work and keep committing to myself.  The herbal retreat helped me reconnect to me.  It helped provide clarity in this tumultuous time in my life.  The retreat was a powerful, grounding experience that I highly recommend."  Kelli

🌿"You have a gift!!  I wasn't exactly sure what today's retreat would look like for me. Whoa...It was so powerful in every sense! With your gentle guidance and reassuring presence, I experienced a release of grief that I had not  known existed. My healing continued as you shared and demonstrated very accessible practices to meet my deep emotions in healthy, compassionate and nurturing ways. I have appreciated the benefits of plant medicine for years now, but through your teachings today, I have a new perspective on their spiritual/energetic powers. I loved the mix of education, sharing  and experiential practice. The yoga nidra and meditation truly put my nervous system into the deepest relaxation- I did not want it to end. Thank you and I will return for resets on a regular basis". Emily

🌿"Before the retreat, I had been going through a period of intense stress. I felt constantly overwhelmed and had even started experiencing nausea. I didn’t fully realize at the time that it was my nervous system responding to the stress.

One of the biggest shifts for me was recognizing that connection. During the retreat, I felt deeply relaxed, and afterward I became emotional for no obvious reason. Looking back, I feel those emotions had been stored inside me for a long time, and once my body finally felt safe enough to relax, they naturally came to the surface.

The retreat reminded me that healing doesn’t always come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from returning to gentle, nourishing practices—taking a quiet moment for yourself, enjoying a cup of herbal tea, drinking enough water, slowing down, and reconnecting with yourself.

I also loved the small group setting. It created a safe space where every woman was seen, heard, and included. Listening to other women’s experiences reminded me that we all carry similar struggles in different ways, and no one was left behind. Kim has a wonderful ability to guide these conversations with warmth, compassion, and genuine care.

Days after the retreat, I still felt calmer and more balanced. I left with practical tools, a deeper understanding of what my body had been trying to tell me, and a renewed appreciation for taking care of my nervous system.

I honestly recommend that you give Kim a try. I was skeptical in the beginning, but I’m so glad I chose to attend. If you’re looking for someone with deep knowledge, genuine compassion, and a truly holistic approach, I believe you’ll be in very good hands." Tania

About the Journey into Deep Rest

The body doesn’t always need to be fixed. Sometimes it needs to be met with calm, compassionate attention. When we stop judging what we feel or trying to make the body change, we create space for a different experience—a space where the body can feel supported, soften, settle, and release in its own time.

In this gentle and restorative workshop, Herbalist and Movement Therapist Kim Hudson explored how calm, non-judgmental awareness can help us reconnect with the body and create a greater sense of safety within.

What We Explored Together

✨ The Safety of Stillness: Discovering how calm, compassionate, non-judgmental attention helps you relate to your body with greater gentleness and ease.

✨ Deep Rest with Yoga Nidra: A deeply restful guided meditation practice designed to quiet the mind, soften the body, and create space for inner awareness.

✨ Sound and Stillness: Experiencing the healing sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls as an invitation to rest, receive, and simply be.

✨ Herbs and the Vagus Nerve: Simple herbal allies to support your nervous system, alongside somatic practices to bring instant calm to your daily life.

During our time together, Kim guided us through a deeply restful Yoga Nidra practice, followed by a beautiful exploration of herbs and an introduction to the vagus nerve. Together, these practices offered an opportunity to slow down, listen inward, and be held in a space of stillness and rest.

With time for reflection and questions.
